This programme provides a practical roadmap for embedding sustainability at the heart of corporate strategy, integrating Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), sustainable finance, and Environmental, Social en Governance (ESG) performance management with circular economy principles to drive sustainable growth.

Course objectives

At the end of the course you:

  • Gain management knowledge and practical skills to design, develop, and implement CSR
  • Apply your insights to critically assess an organization’s CSR and Circular Economy strategies and formulate actionable recommendations for improvement.

  • Evaluate the financial implications of sustainability initiatives, including ROI, tax incentives, ESG funds, and green bonds

  • Learn how to measure, report, and communicate sustainability impact using ESG and carbon reporting tools

Accreditation

Maastricht School of Management (MSM) is part of the Maastricht University School of Business and Economics (SBE).   • Applicants should have the ability to function academically and professionally at Bachelor level.
  • Because it is an interactive programme, candidates should have an adequate level of spoken and written English (C1 of C2 level) to be able to follow the programme and to actively participate. If it turns out and applicant does not have the sufficient level of English, a certificate will not be awarded.
  • Personal résumé / CV demonstrating the minimum requirement of at least 3 – 5 years of relevant working experience,  obtained after your bachelor’s degree
  • Copy of your passport or your EU identity card (valid on the start date of your programme)
