Overview
The Engaging Conflict - Prevention, management and resolution Summer School is organised by T.wai – Torino World Affairs Institute in partnership with the Department of Cultures, Politics and Society of the University of Turin.
The Summer School is designed to provide participants with a critical and multi-disciplinary understanding of contemporary conflict and violence, starting with a broad approach and moving towards more specific, yet salient topics.
Features
Engaging Conflict's faculty draws from a unique spectrum of expertise to train a select group of participants in assessing the complexity of conflict and post-conflict scenarios, and evaluating the relevance and impact of different policy choices or normative standings, from non-intervention to conflict prevention and peacebuilding.

General requirements
- Applications are welcome by any professional or student who is in possession of the required qualifications by the end of the application period. These are a Bachelor’s honours degree (such as the “laurea triennale” for Italian students) and the full command of English.
- Outstanding undergraduate students (i.e. students who have not yet obtained their degree before the end of the application period) who are enrolled in a study programme focused on peace and conflict studies or related fields may also apply, provided that they have completed at least one academic year.
- Special consideration will be given to applicants who can demonstrate their English proficiency.
