Why this programme?
- The Business and Economics in Europe programme at the Maastricht University - Center for European Studies is designed to give students a greater understanding of the international business practices in Europe and the economic policies of the European Union.

Maastricht gained international fame as the birthplace of the Euro, and is located between the major economic centres of Brussels, London, Frankfurt and Amsterdam, making it the ideal place for educating and training the global business leaders and economists of tomorrow.
Programme Structure
Curriculum:
- two ‘block periods’ of classes (block periods 1 and 2 in Fall; block periods 4 and 5 in Spring).
- Students take two courses per 8-week block period, with the option of adding a language course or skills training.
- Students can earn a min. of 24 and max. of 32 ECTS per semester.
- The number of hours in class varies from 12-15 hours per week; for every hour in class students are expected to spend 2-3 hours on study.
