Overview
This two-week Summer Programme Sustainable Business programme offered at Rennes School of Business includes 27 contact hours, personal study time, a presentation by a guest speaker and company visit(s). Students will develop their environmental and social awareness and sharpen their problem-solving, presentation, and cross-cultural communication skills during team projects in a multicultural learning environment.
Learning objectives :
- Make a case for sustainability and how to integrate it into a company’s strategy, culture, and operations.
- Identify a company’s stakeholders’ issues and make relevant recommendations.
- Understand the key challenges and opportunities in the global sustainability sector
- Identify sustainable business practices in France and Brittany while experiencing history and culture.
- Sharpen problem-solving, presentation, and cross-cultural communication skills and apply them to sustainable business

- Climate Fresk – making links between climate and CSR
- The purpose of business
- CSR culture – changing over time and in different locations
- Sustainable production and consumption
- Sustainability strategy
- Zoom on industries – fast fashion and packaging
