Key facts
- In just one semester of full-time study, Lincoln University Canterbury's Certificate in University Studies will provide you with the grounding in academic study so you can fulfil your ambition to enter a degree programme at New Zealand’s world-recognised centre of land-based education.
- You’ll expand your potential through language, writing and study skills.
- Then progress to grow your understanding and abilities in communication, technology, mathematics, economics and environment topics.
- When you’ve completed the Certificate in University Studies, you’ll be able to transfer to the Diploma in University Studies, and then onto to a Bachelor’s Degree. (Please note, this certificate is not a university entrance qualification in itself.)
Programme Structure
How you’ll grow:- Develop your writing, study and language skills so that you’re ready for higher levels of learning right up to Bachelor’s Degree level.
- Develop your numeracy and build a base of understanding around economics.
- Begin to build your awareness of the contexts, priorities and challenges with managing environments from Lincoln – a world-recognised land-based university renowned for enhancing our relationship with the land.
