Overview
What you will study
This Dermatopathology Update course offered by Harvard University aims to provide aids in diagnosis based on conventional morphologic analysis as well as updates on new techniques, such as immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology. This course features conventional didactic lectures with frequent discussion periods and case-based sessions with faculty. There will be a panel discussion with experts in the field discussing some of their most challenging and interesting cases. There is an online hand-out that will reinforce what has been learned from the lectures/presentations. Finally, there will be an online posting of select cases prior to the program for early viewing.

- new criteria for pathologic diagnoses
- molecular diagnostics
- modern staging systems for tumors into clinical practice
- cutaneous neoplasms
- melanocytic, squamous, and lymphoid from mimics
- clinical pathologic correlation in evaluating inflammatory dermatoses
