Overview
What you will study
The Conducting course offered at the University of St Andrews is taught for two days with conductors working with two pianos and on the third and final day, all participants will conduct a professional string orchestra.
Participants will also have an evening with Ben Shute to discuss bowing and style. Video footage from the final day from orchestra can be used for promotional purposes without restriction.

- The St Andrews Advanced Conducting Course welcomes emerging conductors of all ages and nationalities.
- Experienced musicians interested in learning about conducting are also very welcome.
- Workshop participants will work with a pianist and small string ensemble.
