Overview
The Creative Director training at IFA Paris - International Fashion Academy is built around 3 pillars:
- An introduction to fashion design enabling participants to understand the fundamental principles involved in developing the positioning of a fashion house.
- An introduction to make-up techniques which will demonstrate the key elements in the process of creating a successful and coherent make-up look and how basic techniques are transformed into fashionable make-up.
- An introduction to fashion photography which will explore the key techniques behind organising a fashion shoot.
Features
- Participants will learn how to organise and coordinate their own shoots, select the best possible make-up to convey what is illustrated in their creative brief and find locations and styling methods to produce a portfolio which can then be edited and presented to a group of peers for review.
- The use of digital SLR cameras both outdoors and in the studio will also be explained in detail to participants so that they can acquire sufficient theoretical knowledge to offer creative direction during a shoot. In particular, they will be shown the basics of using and giving specifications for camera techniques, lighting, mood and editing.
- At the end of the course, participants will organise their own photo shoot and have the opportunity to include it in their personal portfolio as evidence of their educational experience.
