From portraits to furniture, tapestries to armour, artisans laboured over a huge variety of objects and images, all of which served a wide range of social, political and educational functions. This Tudor art and its setting course offered by University of Cambridge will explore that. Exploring artworks in their common locations will give new insights into the possible meanings of these artworks for their original patrons and viewers.
