Overview

What You Will Learn

Upon completion of this Dalhousie University 's  Understanding Diversity and Inclusion programme, learners will be able to:

  • evaluate attitudes, values and beliefs with respect to diversity and inclusion
  • discover what you really know and the source of that knowledge
  • define terms related to diversity and inclusion
  • identify ways to integrate diversity into your adult education practice
  • resolve diversity conflicts
  • exchange ideas and methods for an inclusive classroom

Microcredential

This course provides learners with the opportunity to earn a microcredential. A microcredential is evidence of a skill or competency that is employment related. Dalhousie microcredentials are developed in collaboration with employers, industries, and/or organizations that relate to the content.
