What you will study
In this Introduction to Culture and Intercultural Interactions course offered by Brock University, participants will explore their own as well as others’ understanding of the concept of culture.
They will understand how culture can be defined by race, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, language or any multitude of other diverse groups.

- Describe the concept of culture generally
- Explain how values, beliefs and behaviours relate to culture
- Examine various definitions and metaphors that will provide clarity to their understanding of culture
- Describe the complexity of culture and intercultural interactions.
