Overview
What you will study
This Becoming Leaders who can be Good Kin workshop offered by Brock University is organized into four modules for learners to journey to a place that supports a way forward that honours people, the land, and all of creation.
During the 2 days, this will be a chance for us to retrace history, pick up what was lost along the way: the chance to honour rather than violate treaties, see the land as a relative not a resource, and to unravel the histories taught throughout colonialism. Lead by the author, attendees will see settler colonialism through the eyes of an Indigenous writer.
