Overview
The 2025 Children’s Literature Summer School offered by University of Antwerp is devoted to diversity and inclusion in children’s literature. These central themes are explored from multiple perspectives, incorporating key insights from fields like critical race studies, age studies, queer and gender studies, as well as translation studies. We place a strong emphasis on intersectionality, delving into how literary and artistic forms engage with topics of diversity and inclusion. Students not only attend dynamic lectures but also participate in interactive workshops and two excursions. The international diversity of our students is viewed as a valuable resource, enriching the classroom experience.
