About

Building Information Modelling, BIM in Design Co-ordination at the UWE Bristol (University of the West of England) is fast becoming the industry standard approach to designing, analysing, and managing building lifecycle.

Overview

On BIM in Design Co-ordination at the UWE Bristol (University of the West of England) you will develop an advanced understanding of BIM approaches for retrieving, analysing and integrating information to aid decision-making, and using appropriate BIM tools.

Learning and Teaching

  • The module is delivered by way of five study days for face to face teaching. Recorded lectures and the use of email discussion groups of virtual learning environments (VLEs) and other technology-aided means are also employed.

Careers / Further study

  • This module can be taken as a standalone module, or used to build up credit towards a named postgraduate qualification (PG Certificate, PG Diploma or Masters) within our School of Architecture and Environment Awards: MSc Building Information Modelling (BIM) in Design Construction and Operations and MSc Construction Project Management.
