Supervision provides a safe place for coaches to: reflect on their performance and behaviour, to articulate their emotions fears and concerns, analyse coaching relationships, consider their own well being and health, be reminded of best ethical practice, learn and develop and gain support.
This Certificate for Coaching Supervisors (ILM Level 7) at the UWE Bristol (University of the West of England) examines the literature, research and best practice guidelines of coaching supervision alongside individual's experience, own philosophies and models, through practical application.

General requirements
There are no formal entry requirements, but the ILM recommends that candidates have successfully completed a coaching qualification at level 5 or 7 or alternatively have had extensive coaching experience.
- You must be able to complete a minimum of 20 hours coaching supervision with a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 coaches.
