Overview
The Communication Skills and Delivering Unexpected News at the UWE Bristol (University of the West of England) will provide opportunities to develop the skills needed to give sensitive care to patients, explore ways of delivering unexpected news following a diagnosis of fetal anomaly as well as equip sonographers with the tools and techniques to be prepared for giving unexpected news with compassion and kindness.
This full day of lectures will be delivered by UWE Bristol (University of the West of England) Lecturers, the Lily Mae Foundation Charity (a UK registered charity who provide support to parents and families who have lost a baby to stillbirth, neonatal death and medical termination) and the ARC (Antenatal Results Choices) Charity .
