Throughout the Trauma and Resilience - Theory and Practice from the Israeli Experience degree from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem you will focus on the consequences of and coping with psychological trauma; theoretical concepts and applications of resilience; community preparedness for terrorism and disaster; developmental and gender aspects of children and trauma; and clinical interventions.

Programme Structure
The program focuses on:- The Trauma and Resilience: Theory and Practice from the Israeli Experience course is an intensive two-week course at Rothberg International School.
An optional third week is available to clinicians at the Metiv Center. The optional third week of clinical training in cognitive behavioral therapy for post-traumatic disorders will be conducted for clinicians who are interested in adapting their clinical skills to the trauma field.
This week takes place at the Metiv Center. For more details on the academic aspects of this training, visit the Metiv Center for the Treatment of Psych Trauma. Please also note that tuition for clinical training is paid directly to the center.

Eligible students for this course must have a background as an advanced student or a professional in clinical or educational psychology, neuropsychology, social work, psychiatry, counseling, nursing, medicine, or law and public health.
Civil servants and clergy are also eligible to apply. Please note that only clinicians are eligible for the optional third week of training.
