Overview
This course delves into the hydrogen supply chain and technologies essential for transporting hydrogen from production to utilization across various industries. Participants will gain insights into:
- Hydrogen Fuel Cells: Advanced technologies powering hydrogen fuel cells and their applications.
- Hydrogen-Powered Vehicles: Exploration of vehicles utilizing hydrogen as a clean energy source.
- Industrial Adaptation: Strategies for industries to integrate and adapt to new hydrogen technologies.
The Green Hydrogen Technologies for Transportation and Utilisation course is delivered by the University of Wollongong in Dubai, and independent experts from Imperial College London, through Imperial Consultants. Students will explore the seamless integration of green hydrogen technologies into society, focusing on practical design applications to address real-world challenges across industries.
This program will allow participants to:
- Navigate the Hydrogen Supply Chain: Understand the comprehensive hydrogen supply chain, from production to end-user consumption.
- Engineer Hydrogen Fuel Technologies: Design cutting-edge hydrogen fuel cells and hydrogen-powered vehicles.
- Transform Industrial Facilities: Design critical elements of industrial facilities to replace natural gas with hydrogen, driving a cleaner future.
- Embrace Agile Teamwork: Experience teamwork and agile industry practices through design thinking methodologies.
- Tackle Real-World Challenges: Engage in role-playing and challenge-based scenarios to devise practical, real-world solutions
Programme Structure
The training consists of the following lectures and labs:
- Hydrogen supply chain and transportation systems
- Hydrogen fuel cells, hydrogen vehicles
- Hydrogen utilization (cement manufacturing, metal kilns, fertilizer production etc.)
- This training program consists of 15 hours of instructor led training alongside self-paced readings.
