- Assessing Organizational ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) Metrics
This course is designed to introduce learners to the new discipline and framework that approaches investment more sustainably by including the review of Environmental, Social and Governance indicators into risk and profitability assessments.
- Corporate Social Responsibility
This online, self-paced course will teach you what Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is and the growing importance and expectations of corporate citizenship. - Green Project Coordination

Environmental health and safety courses
- Chemical Spill Response
This course will cover responsibilities, prevention, spill kit contents, spill assessment, and spill response.
- Biosafety Principles and Practices
This course provides a foundation to understand the risks related to working with biohazardous materials, as well as an overview of the practices and procedures to work safely.
- Ergonomics
This interactive course presents and applies ergonomic fundamentals to empower learners to mitigate their exposure to ergonomic risk factors during participation in daily living activities, whether at work or away from work.
- Fire Safety
This course will provide the learner with an introduction to fire safety.
- Incident Investigation
This course covers essential techniques and methodologies for securing accident scenes, gathering crucial evidence, and identifying human errors.
- Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee Training
This course will give participants the knowledge needed to successfully initiate the formation of a Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee.
- Laboratory Safety
This course is designed for all individuals working in laboratories and will cover the major elements of laboratory safety, giving the participant a strong general foundation to understand the risks associated with working in a laboratory.
- Occupational Health and Safety
This course offers learners an overview of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act of Nova Scotia.
- Respiratory Protection
This course will introduce the learner to respiratory protection.
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) 2015
This course will cover all the major elements of the WHMIS 2015 requirements giving the participant a strong general foundation to understand the risks associated with working with or around chemicals.

- Emergency Medical Services System Design

- Healthy Aging course: Designed for older Canadians and caregivers, our Healthy Aging course is free, online, and easy to navigate. This course offers trustworthy advice and best practices for healthy aging.
- Seniors’ College Association of Nova Scotia: SCANS provides affordable learning opportunities for older adults who are 50+. Members can choose to attend an unlimited number of courses throughout the year on topics ranging from the Ukraine-Russia conflict to Scottish Gaelic for beginners. SCANS offers flexible hybrid courses, as well as in-person courses across Nova Scotia that promise an engaging learning environment for older adults.
