Overview
The London's Urban Development - Politics, Policy and Design course from UCL Summer School equips students with a long-term historical view of development, examines how processes like privatisation and financialisation influence the planning system, and their consequences on everyday life in the built environment.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the module, students will have:
- Developed the ability to identify the forces driving urban development on a global scale and evaluated their impact on the social, economic, and environmental sustainability of cities.
