Overview
In the Individual Employment Contracts in China course from Institute for China Studies, you will learn to bridge legislation with practical application, the masterclass provides sample contract clauses drafted in line with the PRC Labor Contract Law. Each clause is accompanied by an explanation of its purpose, implications, and relevance, giving you both context and insight into how it functions in practice.
The masterclass also places strong emphasis on the role of the employment handbook. Under the PRC Labor Contract Law, employers are required to create and implement a handbook that outlines employee rights and defines workplace obligations. Far more than an administrative document, the employment handbook forms an extension of the labor relationship and serves as a key tool for clearly communicating company policies to employees.
