The founders of the University of California San Diego had one criterion for the campus: it must be distinctive. This timeline chronicles the development of UC San Diego from the site of a military training ground and a marine research station to the innovative institution that it is today.

ICT services
Information Technology Services is UC San Diego’s central IT organization, providing information technology services to support business systems, messaging and collaboration, information security, campus infrastructure, educational technology and researcher needs.
Medical services
Student Health Service provides quality primary medical care, including urgent care and support services such as laboratory, pharmacy, and x-ray. SHS has primary care physicians who are board certified in family medicine or internal medicine. Some physicians also have additional training and expertise in gynecology, sports medicine, rheumatology, urgent care, and mental/ behavioral health.

Aerospace Engineering - UCSD
Loved the program, you get taught all the fundamentals especially in theory of engineering. Would've liked to get more experience in learning more job applicable skills and sotwares.
UCSD study grind
Great school for those looking to study excessively and dive deep into their specific area of interest. If you're coming for the social scene you came to the wrong place. You also have to be very particular about the specific college you choose. Being in Revelle, we have the hardest GE's and some of the worst dormitories. For sixth college, however. they have brand new dorms, easier GE's, and a broader area for social exposure. You should look into each specific college and choose the best for you.
Fast urban planning
Quarter system is fast paced having limited time for various assignments at once. Balancing and organization is key to staying on top of course material, social life, personal life, and work. The Urban Studies and Planning Department is not very rigorous compared to other popular majors and can range from creative courses to more technical courses.
